After a vote by local residents, Belgian artist Adele Renault was commissioned to replace an old mural in the park with a new one.
Adele is a strong female voice in the street art world, and her mural, an enlarged leaf of a dandelion, brightens up the little neighbourhood park in an original manner. The initiative for this mural is the result of a collaboration between local residents and the City of Ghent.

The unique design stands out from the rest of the city’s rich street art collection.

Adele Renault (1988) paints realistic works ranging in size from small canvases to monumental murals. This artist with roots in the Ardennes region has risen to international fame.

The caption reads: ‘for Agnes and Baloe and the neighbourhood’.  Every evening, local resident Agnes takes her dog Baloe for a walk in the park, where she met the artist who also had her dog with her.
