They have been decorating the mantelpieces at our grandmothers’ houses for decades, in conditions not worthy of them: ceramic figurines in all colours and shapes, one more ugly than the other. Street artist AFT (Art for Thought) gives them their freedom one by one.

Equipped with the attributes required to survive in our present-day hectic society, they are given a new life on the street. His work has already decorated numerous façades in Ghent, Berlin, Glasgow, Paris, Stockholm, .. And it doesn’t stop there: since 2013 the Tomorrowland festival has been “plagued” with an invasion of strange figurines each year!
