Ann Cardinael
Ann Cardinael was commissioned by the city of Ghent’s Meeting and Connecting department to create a work of art together with the residents of the Sint-Baafsdorp neighbourhood. She painted a giant game-of-the-goose board as well as various farm animals on the pavement of a housing estate’s courtyard.
Ann Cardinael creates small artworks in chalk that bring colour to urban life. Endearing images and messages that make passers-by slow down and give them a warm feeling.
