Art at the Public Library of Zwijnaarde
Ghent artist Christoph Fink wanted to broaden the visual perspective of people and thus influence their sense of time and space with this work.
The result is a timeline made from bluestone running straight through the library. Both in and outside the building there are two orientation circles that are connected via a strip of bluestone. Fink thus wants to broaden the perspective of passers-by. The timeline is a work of artistic quality, but it also takes the building’s architecture and visitors into account.
