The façade of the Rainbow House building in Kammerstraat is decorated with a mural by illustrator Brecht Vandenbroucke. It reflects the activities of Casa Rosa and also makes the Rainbow House building stand out in the streetscape. The drawing measures 0.6 by 15 metres and extends to the left and right of the balcony over the entire width of the building. With this mural, the City of Ghent wants to make clear that Ghent is a LGBT and trans-friendly city.

In March 2017, Graffiti vzw organised a thematic project for LGBT youngsters from the Min19 organisation, a group of ‘Wel Jong Niet Hetero’, a Belgian youth organisation for Flemish and Brussels lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBT). The young people expressed their gender and sexual identity through graffiti creations and texts.

The works of the youngsters of Min 19, which were later given a place in the Rainbow House building, were the source of inspiration for the façade drawing.

Vandenbroucke's illustrations are full of references to pop and game culture and adorn the pages of newspapers and magazines such as Le Monde Diplomatique, The New York Times and HUMO.
