Bué, Chase & Roa

You can find some older creations in the Luizengevecht park.

As part of the urban renewal project 'Oxygen for the Brugse Poort neighbourhood', the Luizengevecht park was completely redesigned. The newly established cut-through between Bevrijdingslaan and Groendreef also passes by these works.

Bué the Warrior, aka Dave De Rop, is a pioneer in the Belgian street art scene.  He grew up in a family of cartoonists.  Bué has developed his own accessible visual language via colour and positive energy. With his colourful creations, he has left his mark on the streetscape not just of Ghent but also of other cities around the world.

By his own account, Bué is a real ‘street kid’, constantly looking for interesting spots to leave his art. He also enjoys working together with other artists and is not afraid to combine different styles.

Ghent local Roa creates huge murals featuring (dead) animals, mainly in black and white. The animals are always found in the local area and are depicted in their purest form.

Chase, who was born in Belgium, is an artist and designer. His work always  conveys inspiring messages, things which he has learned in his own life and wishes to pass on to others.
