Bué & Oli-B

Bué created his own visual language and brings colour and positive energy to a street context.

Bué the Warrior, a.k.a. Dave De Rop, grew up in a family of cartoonists. Both his father and grandfather worked at Studio Vandersteen. He continues the family tradition and this influence can still be found in his work. As is the case with comic strips and cartoons, Bué uses colour and positive energy to create his own visual language that is accessible to a large group of people.
The street artist from Ghent has been doing what he loves best for more than 20 years: create art to brighten up streets and places that need it the most. With his colourful creations, he has left his mark not only on the streets of Ghent, but on cities all over the world.
