This is the first work Argentine artist Carolina Favale has created in Belgium since 2018.
Argentinian artist Carolina Favale, also known as Cuore, began painting murals in 2009. In doing so, she aims to create timeless and peaceful spaces which encourage reflection and contemplation.
In her work, she frequently depicts hands, as is the case in this mural.
Hands are a universal symbol for the various communities which live in the Nieuw Gent neighbourhood.
