The great escape

Previously, this spot featured a different colorful work by Klaas Van der Linden depicting boats. He has since painted over it with a black-and-white piece. What we see now is an odyssey of scenes with trains, figures standing on water, crushed cars, and an abundance of movement and events unfolding simultaneously.

Painter Klaas Van der Linden (Zottegem, °1986) depicts people and objects in bright colours, with the contrast between light and dark being essential. In addition to murals, he also creates paintings with a unique combination of acrylic and spray paint on canvas. He started with graffiti and street art at the age of 12, and studied free graphic arts at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent.
