The gravel bins at the Old Docks had been used temporarily as a graffiti area since 2012.
Countless artists got creative here. But the construction of the Verapazbrug bridge over the Handelsdok dock, connecting Muidelaan to Afrikalaan, means that the gravel bins will disappear. The city has provided an alternative: a wall on Koopvaardijlaan.
