In the run-up to the third SORRY, NOT SORRY festival, a mini arts route has been created in and around the Voormuide and Muidepoort streets. Local residents were given the opportunity to put their façade at the disposal of an artist. Various artists have installed small works of art at different locations in the neighbourhood.
Jamie Answord brings miniature graffiti to the SORRY, NOT SORRY festival. As he mainly paints in the streets, his toolkit consists of a spraying can and his fingers.
Jamie deliberately creates small and subtle works so that they remain inconspicuous. The purpose is to focus attention on small gestures in this world of visual excesses. He likes holding up a mirror to society by depicting everyday scenes.
