Day-care centre De Bijendans is housed in a former train station in Forelstraat. If you drive from Toekomststraat towards the railway bridge, you can’t miss the colourful cartoonish mural on the side wall of De Bijendans.

The artist responsible is Jeremiah/Jamz/Jamezon, who was commissioned to create this graffiti by Wallin’. He has also left his mark on many other sites throughout the city, such as Patershol and Sint-Martensstraat.

Jeremiah Persyn (°1975, Bruges) is a truly versatile artist. After his studies in painting and animation, he started out as a graffiti artist. Jamz is best known for his street art, but he is also a cartoonist, illustrator of children’s books and founder of ‘Sarazon Creative’.
