Kioskiosk
The Kioskiosk pavilion at Bloemekenspark has been designed by Ghent architect and artist Olivier Goethals.
Kioskiosk consists of two identical spaces which have been integrated to form a new unit. Its two display windows can be used by local residents, for instance as a showcase. Kioskiosk will become a halting place on the cycle route in Bloemekenspark, a pavilion that offers shelter and lets nature in.
Olivier Goethals (1980) lives and works in Ghent. Having studied architecture and urban planning, he creates architectural interventions as well as artistic work which explores the connections between space and consciousness. He is also responsible for the design and implementation of spatial interventions for Kunstcollectief 019.
