Minyo
Vzw Jong wanted to make the façade stand out better and show with drawings what can be done inside the building. Different activities are organized but you can also go there to do your homework. Minyo incorporated these different elements into her drawing. It is a very multicultural neighborhood and in order not to fall into clichés she chose blue figures.
Minyo has been drawing for as long as she can hold a pencil and has always been creative.
After social work she studied graphic design.
Graffiti fascinates her because it is such a strong medium through which an idea, opinion or protest can become very accessible and visual. When she was sixteen she started with graffiti.
Over the years she also discovered many other techniques. Minyo likes to try new things. Graffiti has faded a bit into the background due to lack of time but every now and then, when she gets the chance, she takes on another wall.
