Nigel Leirens
The City of Ghent makes lockers available where homeless people and people with inadequate or insecure accommodation can store their clothes, sleeping bag and important documents.
Born in Ghent, artist Nigel Leirens has lived in Aalst for several years now. In 2021, he won an online contest organised by Street Art Cities with a colourful portrait of an African woman in Lokeren. His work is inspired by life and often nature as well, and always demonstrates an eye for detail.
