For Drawing Days 2017, STAM – Ghent City Museum organised a competition between the 14 boroughs of Ghent. The challenge was to completely cover a Pol Cosmo insect with original patterns and colours, and subsequently present it at STAM during the Drawing Days festival. The borough with the most drawings won an original work by Pol Cosmo.
Pol Cosmo creates colourful insects which pop up on buildings all over the city. In this way, the artist wishes to surprise people in a positive manner.
