In 2016, Cee Pil painted his first large official mural in the streets of Ghent, more specifically in Metselaarsstraat.

He wanted to express his view of the surroundings. The horses represent the multicultural melting pot that this Ghent neighbourhood is. The cogwheels refer to industry, and the interconnectedness of the neighbourhood with the nearby power plant.

Cee Pil's work offers an unusual view of nature and how man and nature live together, with the aim of making viewers think. You can expect tranquil, harmonious images with a wry undertone.
