Verzoek (Request)

A wonderful poem is hidden among the many shops in Veldstraat. David Troch wrote Verzoek, a tribute to the city and a cry for attention from the cobble stones to be noticed between all of Ghent’s splendid squares, monuments and attractions. To make passers-by literally look at the cobbles, the poem was put at knee height.
