With Le Mur, Bar Broos provides a visible and centrally located canvas for young, creative talent. Every month, the wall is painted over by a new artist, thus forming a steppingstone for young talent.
Ghent visual artist Leen Van Tichelen has created the work of art Silent Speech together with the inhabitants of the Bloemekenswijk neighbourhood. It consists of imposing canvases printed with patterns and images designed by local residents. The stories of this neighbourhood are thus an integral part of the artwork.
Kymo One gives a representation of what he experiences in his surroundings by using images and graphic elements he found online. He often holds a mirror to himself, as well as to the people around him. His focus is on the emotional and reactional nature of man.
