    Adele Renault

    Snoekstraat 52 , 9000 Gent Adele Renault

    After a vote by local residents, Belgian artist Adele Renault was commissioned to replace an old mural in the park with a new one.
    Adele is a strong female voice in the street art world, and her mural, an enlarged leaf of a dandelion, brightens up the little neighbourhood park in an original manner. The initiative for this mural is the result of a collaboration between local residents and the City of Ghent.

    The free walking map 'From electricity to street art' takes you along ten electrical enclosures that were painted by ten different artists. All electrical enclosures are located near the Museum of Industry.

    Say it with colour! Twelve new murals adorn the old bricked-up windows on Ottergemsesteenweg. Not only do they make the street more attractive, they also convey a message. The artworks should make passers-by aware of the residential character of this busy road.

    The great escape

    Wellingstraat , 9000 Gent Klaas Van der Linden

    The artworks of Klaas Van der Linden appear ever more often in the city, like here near Papegaaistraat. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old westerns, with steam trains and figures drawn in great detail, dressed in clothes from the 19th century.

    The appearance of the sacred terminus

    For Bar Bricolage Klaas Van der Linden created a drawing of the ‘last stop’ in his unmistakable style. This time, it is not a train but a tram that takes centre stage in the design.

    This work by Van der Linden is based on the story of the Tottenham Outrage, an armed robbery of a London factory in 1909.

    A bit hidden in a side street of Wiedauwkaai, near the harbour, you can find a mural in the typical colourful style of Bué. Incidentally, the drawing got an update in 2021.
